金沢にも遂に冬将軍が到来
　我が家もすっぽりと雪景色
　静かに時の節目を伝える。
　皆様にとって、良き年となりますように！

　A finally true winter arrives at Kanazawa.

　AM 3:00
　両手の手のひらが猛烈に痒く、 目が覚めた。
　その痒さは、瞬く間に全身に拡がり、気がつけば身体の至る所に発疹がでてきた。
　その間、わずか10分ぐらで、まるでゾンビ映画の一コマのようだった。
　車を運転して、病院の夜間窓口で受診
　1時間ぐらいの点滴。無かったかのように改善。
　家に戻ったのは5時30分。
　病名は蕁麻疹(じんましん)
　年寄はかかりにくいらしい。では、私は若いのか？いや、ストレスかららしい。

　こんな早朝に親切に対応してくれた病院とドクターに感謝

　Morning and 3:00.
　A palm of both hands was fiercely itchy, and I woke.
　Its itchiness spreads over the whole body instantly, and when noticing, a rash has come out in
　everywhere of a body.
　Meanwhile it seemed to be one frame of a zombie movie for only 10 mminutes.
　I drive a car and see a doctor by the night desk of the hospital.
　An intravenous drip for 30 minutes. They seem not to have had that and it's improved.
　It's 5:30 that I have returned to my house.
　A name of disease, the hives
　Elderly seems difficult to take. Then, am I young? No, it seems to be from build up stress.
　I thank a doctor with a hospital to which it corresponds kindly such early morning.

　


　久しぶりに三人で外食、美味しかった。
　おかげで父も元気だ。
　長男祐希との会話が嬉しそうだ。

　We had a dinner with three people after a long time and it was good.
　Fortunately, my father is fine, too.
　He seem glad about conversation with eldest son Yuki.

　


　社会連携センター・伊東順二教授の招聘のもと、非常勤講師として授業させていただいた。
　私は東京藝大に出向き、学生はリモートで参加、質問もチャットで素晴らしい質問をたくさんいただいた。
　コロナ禍で、勝手に進んだ未来の授業形式だが、新しい時代にいることを実感した。

　作家として生きていくことは相当な覚悟がいる。あるいは、プロデューサーとしてプロジェクトを遂行していくには、
　正しい出会いからのチーム編成が必要となる。人は一人では生きれない。
　毎日、正直に、人を裏切ることなく過ごすことで、人からの信用を得た人脈が形成されていく。
　自戒を込めて、これから社会に飛び立つ学生達に語らせていただいた。

　I also taught as a part-time lecturer with the one of the invitation of Prof. Junji Ito.
　I visited to Univerty and students were participated remotely, and a question was also a chat and
　I received many wonderful questions.
　It was the future class form which was a Corona misfortune and was developed selfishly,
　but I realized that I'm here the new time.
　Considerable resolution needs living as an artist, Or team organization from a right encounter is needed
　to be executing a project as a producer.
　A person can't live by himself. The connections which made a reputation from a person are being formed out
　of to have time without betraying a person honestly every day.
　I included a self-discipline and told the students who will fly out in society now.

　


　2020年11月22日の大安。そして東京は快晴。
　次男の篤人が結納を交わした。
　大学も同級で相思相愛の二人だが、
　次男は経済産業省勤務で、お相手も総務省勤務。
　私には異次元の世界だが、父親としての尊厳が問われている。笑
　それと間違いなくお爺さんの立場が待っている。笑
　ついにそんな時がやってきたのだ。

　Auspicious day on November 22, 2020. And Tokyo is mostly sunny.
　My second son's Atsuhito exchanged a betrothal present.
　They two in love with each other, the second sons is working at the Ministry of Economy,
　Trade and Industry duties, a partner is the Ministry of Public Management,
　Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications duties, too.
　It's the world of the different dimension for me, but the prestige as the father is asked about.
　And the viewpoint of the grandfather is waiting certainly for me.

　


　縁起良く、全て1が重なった、十一代目として11月11日から始まった展覧会。
　毎日が記録的にコロナの感染者が増える中で、大勢の方々が訪れてくれた。
　間違いなく何かに守られている。
　全てに感謝と合掌。

　I am 11th generations and my Kyoto exhibition started 11/11 so that was unusual lucky number.
　Every day is record-breaking, while an infected patient of Corona was increasing, many persons visited.
　It's maintained by something certainly.

　たくさんの花が届き、有難いことです。
　これからも家族皆で支えていきます。

　同じ歳の古くからの友人である新田八朗氏が、富山県知事になる。
　富山県は、私が住む石川県とは隣の県だ。
　昔からこの両県、互いがライバル関係のように張り合って、仲が悪いと言われてきた。
　富山、石川、福井、北陸は一つとなって、これからの難局に立ち向かっていかなければならない。
　昨夜、金沢から応援に行ったのだが、彼はとても喜んでくれた。
　テレビで選挙速報を見た。勝者の彼が言った。「これからはノーサイドで、ワクワクする富山を創っていく」
　戦い終わればノーサイド！
　彼は嘘をつかない。頑張ってほしい。

　My old friend will be Toyama prefectural governor.
　Ishikawa-ken where I live is the next prefecture in Toyama-ken. When these both prefectures and it has
　been called.
　mutual compete like a rival relation from the past.
　Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui are Hokuriku area has to be one, and I have to be confronting a future difficulty.
　I went from Kanazawa to seeing him last night, he was very glad.
　I watched an election news on television. He is a winner said. "I'll create excited Tomiyama by a final whistle now."

　明日の開館のために金沢を訪れた萩生田 光一　文部科学大臣、宮田亮平　文化庁長官、馳浩　元文部科学大臣が我家を視察。
　そして、記念茶盌を制作された。
　限られた時間の中で有難いことだ。

　Hiroshi Hase visited Kanazawa for tomorrow's opening.
　They also stopped at my home and made tea bowls.

　金沢での三代展を終え、その後は日展の作品制作に没頭。
　疲れ切ったけど、責任もってやらねばならないことがある。そして、やりたいこともある。
　私の人生は苦難だらけだけど、負けてたまるか！頑張るぞ！
　富士山！ありがとう。

　Our 3 generations exhibition was finished and it's immersed in work making of Nitten after that.
　Tired,But I have to take responsibility. And I'd like to do things also.

　30年前の今日、鵬雲斎家元、裏千家御宗家、を主賓としてお招きして、大樋美術館の竣工式が執り行われた。
　数々の写真はまるでタイムカプセルのようなものだ。
　盟友だった伊住政和氏(1958-2002)、嵯峨春平氏(1951-2004)などの在りし日のお姿もある。そして、妹、母、娘。
　今日まで様々な事があったが、天から見守ってくれているに違いない。
　有り難い縁をこれからも大切にしていきます。

　Today of 30 years before, Urasenke 15th Grand Tea Master Hounsai and representative family
　of Urasenke were invited as a guest of honor, to hold completion-celebrating ceremony for OHI museum.
　Many pictures are the one just like a time capsule.
　Isumi Masakazu who was a sworn friend (1958-2002) and Mr. Saga Shunpei (1951-2004) are there to be seen.
　There were various things up to now, but I'm certain that you'll watch from heaven.
　The thankful relationship will continue to think important from now on.

　


　誰もいない私の工房で、夕陽の御光を受けたマセラッティ・レヴァンテ。
　静寂の中、独自のエンジン音が響きわたる。

　5月の連休に、父、長男、そして私とペットショップに行った。
　愛らしい、この柴犬が私達を虜にした。
　半日いただろうか？
　クレジットカードで犬を買ってしまった。
　でもこの犬、目が娘に似ている。
　映画じゃないけど、娘の生まれ変わりかもしれない。
　娘の名は茉紀、茉はジャスミンのこと。
　我家の新しい家族にジャスミンが加わった。
　ちなみに、私にはとんでもなく懐いてくれる。

　Consecutive holidays in May, I went to a pet shop with my father, eldest son. This lovely Shiba dog made us a captive.
　Was there half day?
　A dog has been bought with a credit card. But her eye is similar to my daughter.
　It isn't a movie? but It may be my daughter.
　Daughter's name is 茉紀　and that 茉 is a jasmine. A jasmine was added to the new family in my home.
　By the way, she take to me unexpectedly.

　


　誰よりも娘を愛してきた。
　何があろうが娘を信じてきた。
　なのに突然の別れ。未だ心は癒されない。
　今日、全国からたくさんの花が届いた。
　茉紀のことを皆んな覚えていてくれている。
　有難いことだ。
　金沢は、快晴から土砂降りの雨、そしてまた晴れ！
　娘の仕業だな。

　I have loved my daughter more than everyone.
　I'll have that, but what has believed my daughter.
　Though it's so, it has been sudden separation.
　My heart isn't healed yet.
　I receive a lot of flowers from the whole country.
　Maki, everyone remember you.
　Mostly sunny for Kanazawa today But suddenly torrential rain and fine again.
　It must be my Daughter's act.

　そして、北陸放送メインキャスターでもある松村玲郎氏のナビゲートによって、一緒となり語り合った。
　馳浩元文部科学大臣から質問があったりで、大変に盛況な時間となった。
　そして、やがて93歳となる父が元気でいてくれることが何より幸せなことだ。

　Each spoke for 3 days.
　And it became same by navigation of Mr. Matsumura Reo who is Hokuriku broadcast main caster, and we talked.
　it's a happy thing to have the father who becomes 93 years old soon vigorously above all.
　We also understand this protection from a lot of persons.

　2020年度かなざわまち博で子供達が家族の息災を大樋焼にこめた。
　参加した小学生は、みんながアーティストだ。

　Children made for the good health of the family in Ohi Studio by the 2020 KAZAWA-MACHIHAKU.
　Everyone was an artist for the schoolchild who participated.

　

　
　イタリアの車なのに、何故か金沢の景色と同化する。
　メディチ家と前田家、デザインを重んじた歴史があるからなのかもしれない。

　Though it's an Italian car, It assimilate to the scenery of Kanazawa for some reason.
　It may be Medici and Maeda family used to control for total design policy’s.
　It shares our historical truth.

　

　 ーうつわの哲学　“愛の母子像”

　私の母方の祖父・久保清(1895-1983)は、医師でありながら考古学者だった。
　発見した縄文の上山田貝塚（石川県かほく市宇ノ気町）は、祖父母の実家側で、
　そこで発掘したのがこの母子像（石川県指定文化財）なのだ。
　私と祖父とのエピソードも書きました。
　是非、お読みください。

　尚、本日より1年間、大樋美術館で特別展示いたします。

　serialization August issue Philosophy of a vessel
　“Mother & Child Statue of love”

　Kubo kiyoshi(1895-1983) was a grandfather of my mother's side and he was a doctor and an archaeologist.
　Jomon Period of Kamiyamada shell mound (Unoke,Kahoku-shi, Ishikawa Pref) was found
　by my grand father and was located near grandparents' parents' home.
　Also this mother and child statue (the Ishikawa Prefecture designated cultural property) was found by him.
　By all means, I would like to ask you to read.

　Further for 1 year, it will exhibit it especially at Ohi Museum from today.

　


　今日、亡くなられた。
　御夫婦で我家に来られて、茶盌を造られた。その時のことは両国で大きくマスコミに取り上げられた。
　台北で個展をした際には、やはり御夫婦でレセプションにお越しになられて、皆んなに私を紹介してくれた。
　そして、共に夕食に誘ってくれたのだが、行く先々に警官が立っていて信号が全て青だった。
　その後も親交を頂いた。ご冥福を祈りたい。

　He passed away today.
　He could come to my home with his wife and made tea bowls too.
　That case was taken up by mass communication at two countries.
　When I had an exhibition in Taipei, they come to the reception as expected, introduced me to everyone.
　And I invited to dinner together, a police officer had left for destinations, and all signals were green.
　I also received an acquaintance after that. I'd like to wish for rest in peace.

　八代、九代、十代、そして私で十一代に至る、歴代の大樋長左衞門が収集した約3700冊の本を寄贈した。
　父の昔からのコレクションが主なのだが、彼が若い時からどのような本を読みながら大成したのかが垣間見ることもできる。

　贈答式では、石川県知事から感謝状をいただいた。
　92歳の父は、生かされている証が残せたことを喜んでいる。

　3700 book collection collected from 8th to 11th Ohi Chozaemon was contributed.
It was mostly fathers’ collection
　and he succeeded while what kind of book he is reading until today.
　We received a letter of thanks from Ishikawa prefectural governor.
　My father is now 92-year-old and was glad from his left life that a utilized proof could be left.

　


　初めて、この車のエンジンを始動させた。
　繊細に伝わるその響きは、都度のコンディションを私に教えてくれることだろう。
　マセラティジャパンから、インフルエンサーとして選ばれた。1年間、この車を預かりレポートすることを委ねられている。
　金沢の春夏秋冬、変わりゆく季節の中で、共に過ごしてみよう。

　工房で一緒に夜中まで制作している。しかし、話すことはほとんどない。
　陶芸とはなかなか上手くいくものではない。
　どんなに精魂込めて美しく仕上げても、割れてしまえばそれで終わり。
　窯場で、泣いている後姿を何度か見た。
　でも、誰もが歩く道だ。
　どんなに手助けしたくても、教えないことが親子の関係。大学ならパワハラかもしれない。
　一人で梱包して、土砂降りの雨の中を金沢から運転して、東京青山のギャラリーに搬入。
　陶芸と建築との二刀流。
　彼にはその垣根や領域がないらしい。
　全く私とは次元が違うけど、
　息子には、厳し過ぎて間違いなく愛情がないように思われている。
　結局、父が私にしてきた事を私がしているのか！
　彼の作品の評価は、皆様が評価してください。

　I'm making work until midnight together at my studio. But there are almost no cases that we speak.
　Ceramics isn't anything to go well easily.
　When breaking even if a heart and soul are included and it's completed beautifully, how is it that, the end.
　I saw his crying several times at a kiln space.
　But the way everyone walks.
　It's father and child's relation how isn't that it told even if I'd like to help. If it was happen in university,
　I would be appeared just like a power harassment.
　He packed his work by himself, in the heavy rain he was driven from Kanazawa to carried to gallery in Tokyo Aoyama.
　Two-sword style with ceramics and architecture. He seems to have no fence and territory.
　The dimension is just different from me.
　He maybe thinks I am too severe and no affection certainly.
　In the long run am I doing that my father has made it me!
　Everybody estimate the value of his work, please.

　このプロジェクトは、金沢市と金沢市工芸協会が企画。
　試みたことは以下のようなこと。

　1.工芸家がアート性が高いマスクをデザインし、作家の感性を伝える。
　　　(金沢市工芸協会からの9名の作家)
　2.マスクを縫製する事で、障害者の働く場を確保する。
　　　(社会福祉法人愛里巣福祉会)
　3.収益金を医療現場への支援とする。金沢香林坊ロータリークラブが一括購入

　金沢市という行政から、長年にわたる工芸家への手厚い支援に対して、
　ほんのささやかな社会へのお返しかもしれない。
　関係した皆様、心から感謝申し上げます。

　Kanazawa Craft Council plans this project with city of Kanazawa .
　It's the following thing that I tried.

　1. High art designs masking, and craftmen tells the sensitivity of the artist .
　　(9 member from this council )
　2. It's to sew a mask and the place where a person with disabilities works is reserved.
　　(Social welfare corporation Airi welfare meeting)
　3. The proceeds are made support to a medical site. Kanazawa Korinbo Rotary Club purchases it in bulk.

　It may be just small support to the society but it is craftmen appreciation for the administration
　from Kanazawa City to years.
　I'll appreciate sincerely as one person of related.Thank you for all.

　草月流家元でありながら、彫刻、陶芸、書などを発表。そして映画監督でもあった。
　私が憧れるマルチアーティストは、実は父の学友でもあった。
　今も生きていられたら、聞きたいことがたくさんある。

　Though he was the Head Master of Sougetsu School of flower arrangement and made many works
　from sculpture,ceramic, calligraphy. And he was also a movie director.
　I respect this multi-artist and he was also father's schoolmate actually.

今日、花とケーキが届いた。
　花は、一昨年の9月11日に亡くなった娘のためのもので、ある方から月命日に必ず届く。これで19回目。
　ケーキは、私の誕生日のためのもので、あるホテルから毎年届く。これで25回目。
仏前で手を合わせてから、62歳となった誕生ケーキのろうそくを吹き消した。
娘よ！たくさんの幸運をもたらしてくれてありがとう。

I have received flower and birthday cake today.
A flower is the someone for my daughter who passed away on September 11,2018 and reaches certainly in a month anniversary of death. With this, the 19th time.
A birthday cake is from some hotel and It reaches every year. With this, the 25th time.
A candle of the birthday cake which became 62 years old was blown out after a hand was put together in front of my family temple.
They're my daughter! A lot of good luck!Thank you for bringing it.

　


　非常事態宣言解除のもと、デパートの再開とともに始まった私の「再始動」の個展。
　そして、その間に誕生日を迎えるという偶然も重なった。
　しかし、皆んなも私も不安。
　でも、いつもと変わらぬ人並みが、、、、
　友人、知人、続々と来てくれた。
　間違いなく守られている。
　全てに感謝。

　After the state of emergency declaration, my exhibition was started with resumption in a department store.
　And the coincidence story was added my birthday in this time.
　Everyone is still worried about.

　コロナウィルス感染拡大にともなって、私の個展からが高島屋美術部の「再始動」となる。
　「再始動」として偶然が重るのは、何かの導きなのだろうか。全てに感謝しなければならない。

　My Restart Exhibition will be held at Tokyo Nipponbashi Takashimaya from tomorrow. And a display was just finished.

　New-style coronavirus infection expansion has a shocking influence on the people who do arts and crafts to do, also.
　City of Kanazawa and Kanazawa crafts Council hold the digital arts and crafts exhibition where the craftsman
　based in Kanazawa on the internet the subject.

　幕末、明治を駆け抜けた元勲の茶碗

　井上馨（号・世外）が明治45年(1912年)に 金沢を訪れました。
　その際の出来事や私の曽祖父である八代大樋長左衞門との出会いのエピソードなどを書かせていただきました。
　維新前に伊藤博文などと共にイギリスに留学、激動の時代を生き抜いた井上馨。
　来るべきPOSTコロナウィルスの時代に参考になるとも思います。

　Inoue Kaoru (segue) visited Kanazawa in 1912. I wrote an episode of an affair in the case

　今朝、母方の祖父の夢を見た。夢では、私はまだ小さな子供だった。
　金沢の郊外、河北市宇ノ気町。夕刻に、亡くなった母が生まれた実家に行ってみた。
　祖父が開業医や考古学者として住んだ大きな屋敷や庭は、今は更地となって土蔵だけが残っている。
　妹や私を含めてたくさんの孫が集まったお盆や正月。夕陽を見ると涙ぐむ自分がいた。
　3月は、ドバイ、スリランカ、ブラジルへの渡航予定があり、本来なら今晩遅くに金沢に戻る予定だった。
　全てがキャンセル。ほとんどの時間を金沢の工房で過ごしできた。
　どこにも行かなくて良かった。

　I had grandfather's dream of a mother's side this morning. I was still a small child by a dream.
　Suburb in Kanazawa and Kahoku-city Unoke-machi.
　I went to my grandfather house where my past mother was born in the evening.
　The big residence and garden where my grandfather lived as a practitioner will be a vacant lot now,
　and only a warehouse is left.
　The Lantern Festival and the New Year's when a lot of grandchilds gathered including me.
　When the sunset was seen, some reason I was cried.
　In March, to Dubai, Sri Lanka and Brazil,
　I planned to take a trip and I planned to return to Kanazawa late this evening primarily.
　Everything cancels it. I could spend most time at my studio in Kanazawa.
　It was better I did not go anywhere.

元気でいて、分かり合えていて、そして皆んな現役。
永遠に続いてほしい。

　友人を連れてくるからと長男に言われた。
　そして、森星さんはじめ4人の若い女性達が一生懸命に作陶にチャレンジした。
　それぞれにアーティストマインドがあるからか、面白い作品が出来上がった。
　夏にまたやってくるそうだ。

　My friend, you said to eldest son because it was collected.
　My son just told me that he took his friends to my studio.
　And 4 young females including Ms. Mori Akari challenged to make ceramics.
　They challenged seriously with artist mind so they could make many interesting works.t
　All girls said that they come again in summer.

　


　彼女とは、所属するギャラリーも同じである縁もあって、東京、軽井沢などで
　何度かお会いしてきたが、今回は我家を訪れてくれた。
　我家の茶室「芳土庵」で茶を喫した直後だった。
　芳名録に描いた絵は、大樋美術館で見た歴代作品からのインスピレーションによるもので、
　亀と獅子が合体したものだった。
　彼女のpaintingは、世界で高い評価を得ている。彼女の更なる活躍が楽しみだ。

　We are sharing the same gallery contact therefore could meet in Tokyo or Karuizawa.
　Finally she visited me to Kanazawa.
　It was just after she had tea in the tea room Hodoan in my home.
　She started painting for visitors book.
　Her inspiration from the successive my generations work seen at Ohi Museum.
　Painting was a turtle and a lion were united.
　Her painting gets high evaluation in the world.
　It's pleasant for her further achievement.

　

　春の花が咲きはじめた。

　毎日、工房で制作に没頭している。
　コロナウィルスで世界が大混乱している。
　2月のハンガリー・ペーチでの個展や大学でのワークショップが奇跡のようでもあり、
　遠い過去のようにも思えてしまう。

　A flower in spring has begun to bloom.

　空中信楽茶碗はタイムカプセル
　Honami Kucyu Shigaraki style tea bowl is a time capsule.


　江戸時代、京都と金沢にいた偉大なアーティストであった本阿弥光悦と孫の本阿弥光甫(空中)
　大樋美術館が所蔵する空中信楽茶碗　銘「加賀空中」、根津美術館が所蔵する空中信楽茶碗　銘「武蔵野」とを検証してみた。

　Honami Koetsu ang his grandson Honami Koho (Kucyu) were great artist in the Edo Period at Kyoto
　and Kanazawa.
　There was companion of Kucyu Shigaraki style tea bowl in the Ohi museum known as
　Kaga-Kucyu and Nezu Museum as known as Musashino.

　夜は関係者との夕食会。

　思い出深い日々だった。

　Today,It's experienced with a demonstration of a tea ceremony.
　It became possible to join with Urasenke Hungary association and specially by Mrs.Kornia Rajzo Kontor
　Night is a dinner party with the person concerned.

　ハンガリー　ペーチ市中心部にあるニックギャラリーでの個展が始まった。
　昨年10月のブタペスト展からの巡回展となった。
　レセプションは、パバ ズウルト・ペーチ市市長、ピーター ホパル 国会議員(文化省副大臣）の挨拶を頂き、
　200名を超える人々が集まってくれた。
　そして、金沢から同行している百瀬玲亜さんも素晴らしい漆の作品を発表し、高い評価を得ることができた。

　An exhibition at the Nick gallery at center of Pécs city has started.
　It was a tour exhibition from Budapest in October 2019.
　A reception received a greeting of Pécs city mayor Páva Zsol, Congressman Péter Hoppál
　(Department for Culture, Media and Sport vice minister) and people beyond 200 people gathered.
　And Ms. Momose Reia accompanying from Kanazawa releases wonderful lacquer works and gets high evaluation.

　


　ペーチ大学での制作は順調に進んでいる。
　明日からのペーチでの個展の準備を終えて、ブタペストへ3時間の移動。
　夜はハンガリー大使公邸に招かれている。
　明日昼、ブタペストからペーチに戻り、夜は展覧会のオープニングレセプション。
　同行している百瀬玲亜さんも作品を飾る。

　I am making my works at Pécs university.
　The movement which finishes preparations of exhibition in Pécs from tomorrow, and it's 3 hours to Budapest from Pécs .
　It's invited to Japanese Ambassador official residence at Hungary in the evening.
　The opening reception night will return to Pécs from Budapest at noon tomorrow,.
　and by which it's an exhibition. Miss Reia accompanying shows her works, also.

　


　ペーチは歴史、文化のある街で、この大学には世界からの学生が集まっている。
　昨日からワークショップと講演を行いながら制作開始。
　金沢から同行している百瀬玲亜さんも公開制作をおこなった。

　Pécs is historical cultured city.
　Here Pécs university has a lot of students from the world gather in this institution.
　I begin to make works while lecturing with a workshop from yesterday.
　Miss Momose Reia accompanying from Kanazawa had a workshop, too.

　


　昨年からの日本とハンガリー修好150年を記念した個展がペーチ大学にて巡回します。
　同時にアーチェストレジデンスとして公開制作、そして講演も行います。
　漆芸家 百瀬玲亜さんも同行して制作と展覧会を行います。若い優秀な作家をお預かりするので、責任重大です。
　とりあえず行って来ます！

　I am going for workshop, lectures and exhibition with young talent artist at University of Pécs.
　It is kind of heavy responsibility but also good opportunity for both of us.

　十年ぶりの響きあい「九つの音色－Reflection－」

　9人の作家ではじまった九つの音色。20年前にそれぞれの道を目指している作家が集まり、国内外で展覧会をした。
　そして出版した本も5冊にのぼる。
　結成時の20年前、活動を休止した10年前の日本の工芸を振り返りながら未来を予測しあった有意義なパネルとなった。
　今、代表は文化庁長官、そして日本芸術院会員、重要無形文化財などにもなったメンバーもいる。
　代表が100歳になるのは25年後、日本の100歳を超えた人口は38万人となっている。
　それまで、元気に回を重ねあって互いが高め合うことを誓った。

　


　金沢大学での外国人留学生を対象に行う今年度の授業を終えた。
　この授業は全て英語で行うので、留学を希望する日本人学生も参加している。
　茶道体験と金沢の歴史、茶碗を制作(手捻り、削り、施釉)、そして焼成。6月になると彼らの展覧会も行われる。
　毎年5回の授業を22年間繰り返してきた。おそらく金沢大学では最も長く続く講座だと思う。
　それぞれの学生が、それぞれの作品を手にして、世界中に戻っていく。
　その作品には金沢の記憶が内蔵されているのだから。

　This fiscal year's tuition who does targeted for the foreigner student studying abroad
　at Kanazawa University has been finished.
　This class is everything in English, so the Japanese student who hopes for studying abroad participates, too.
　A tea ceremony experience, Kanazawa's history, tea bowl and other objects tried to make.
　Their exhibition will be also performed in June.
　The class of 5 times every year has been repeated for 22 years.
　Perhaps Kanazawa University thinks my lecture which continues most lengthily.
　The respective students are returning to all over the world with the respective works in the hand.
　It'll be that Kanazawa's memory is had by the work built-in.

　金沢市からの依頼で、漆芸家 百瀬玲亜さんがハンガリーへ私と同行することになった。彼女は、
　金沢美大では二人の世界最高の教授から漆を学び、金沢卯辰山工芸工房を修了、若干32才だが有望な工芸家だ。

　2月15日から24日までハンガリー外務省からの依頼で、私はハンガリー・ペーチ大学において、
　個展、ワークショップ、講演を行うことになっている。
　個展は、昨年10月にブタペストでの個展が巡回して開催される。

　この一連の活動に彼女も参加する。これからの彼女の作家活動を皆で見守っていこうと思っている。

　By request from Kanazawa City, lacquer artist Rei Momose,will go to Hungary with me.

　Lacquer is learned from 2 world respect professors of the Kanazawa College of Art and mastered at
　Kanazawa Utatsuyama crafts center. she's just 32 years old but she's a promising KOGEI artist.

　I'm going to do an exhibition, a workshop and a lecture in Hungary Pécs
　University by request
　from the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from February 15 to the 24th.
　An exhibition in Budapest made its rounds in October of last year, and that exhibition is held.

　She participates in this a sequence of activity, too. I think I'll watch her future artist activity with everyone.

 


　2001年、9人の作家が集まり活動が始まった。
　東京、福岡、北京、ソウル、様々な場所での展覧会をしながら、5冊もの本を出版した。その活動期間を10年として幕を一度閉じた。
　今日、発足して20年が過ぎ、そして10年ぶりに皆が集まった。まるでグループサウンズの再結成のようでもあった。
　その間、九つの音色のメンバーは、文化庁長官、日本藝術院会員、重要無形文化財保持者、
　そして様々な重責を担う作家となっている。私はAKBのような総選挙ともなれば、
　9人の中のランキングでは9番目だと思う。今日、再びそのことを実感した。
　けれども、そんなメンバーの仲間でいれることは有難いことでもある。それを励みとして精進するつもりだ。
　関係者方々、私を応援してくださっている方々にもお集まりいただき、感謝の気持ちに絶えない。

　9 artists gather and started in 2001, and activity has started. 5 kind of books were published
　while holding an exhibition at Tokyo, Fukuoka, Beijing, Seoul and various places. The active period,
　we have ended once as 10 years.
　Everyone gathered today started since 20 years passed and gathered in 10 years after.
　It also seemed to be re-formation of a group sounds.
　Meanwhile members became the Agency for Cultural Affairs chief,
　a member of Japan Art Academy and an important intangible cultural asset holder
　and carries various heavy responsibility for a member of nine by harmony.
　When it's also a general election like AKB,
　I think I will be the 9th by a rank in 9 members. The thing was realized again today.
　However it's also that I'm appreciated by such member's company.
　I'll devote myself encouraged by that.

　今年１月から連載することになった私のエッセイ。

　日本文化には、たくさんの中国から移入され、それを高めたものが多くある。
　その日本文化、今の中国からはどのように見えるのかだろうか？
　現代アートの視点で日本の工芸や茶盌はどのようなものなのか？

　私なりの考えを書いている。
　日本の工芸に興味がない人もきっと読んでもらえると思う。

　My essay serialized from January of this year.

　Our Japanese culture is deeply influenced by Chinese culture but it was not only imported.
　We created own culture for a long time.

　The question how is seen from China of the Japanese culture now?

　これまでの貢献で、数えきれない名誉をこれまで受けて来られた。
　今回は、フランス政府からのレジオン・ドヌール勲章を叙勲された。
　フランス大使公邸での授賞式には、福田赳夫康夫元内閣総理大臣、フランス、日本の政府関係者、
　そして裏千家御宗家並びに、支える老分などが出席された。
　間も無く97歳となられる大宗匠。
　大使が功績を述べられる長い間も、微動たりもしない直立不動のお姿に、感無量となったのは私だけではないと思う。
　この時間の記憶をしっかりと私の脳裏に焼き付けておきたい。

　Happy event of Urasenke Great Tea Master 15th Dr.Sen Genshitsu Dr. Sen could receive
　the honor he can't finish counting up to now and come by the former contribution.
　He decorated register on from the French government and de commander de la Le’gion d’honneur this time.
　Former Prime Minister Fukuda Yasuo, administration official in France and Japan and Urasenke families head
　support attended an awards ceremony at a French ambassador official residence.
　The great master who becomes 97 years old soon.
　An ambassador can tell achievements quite long time but he was a full of emotion in the form
　standing at attention.
　I also think it was not easy but all people was admired from this emotion.
　I'd like to keep this memory on my mind tightly.

　静寂の境内で心を清める。
　浮かんだこと
　「他人を侮ることなく清く正しく生きたい」
　般若心経の意味は深い。私はまだ初心者。
　色不異空、空不異色、色即是空、空即是色
　今年は「空」を考えてみたいと思う。

　The color non-different sky is empty, non-uniquely, the color, immediately,
　Zekuu and illusion of the reality of matter.
　I'd like to consider this meaning for this year.
