婦人画報2023年新年号に8ページの取材。
　変わらぬ我が家の正月。そして新しく長男のフィアンセが加わった。
　父の元気な姿も掲載、大切な家族の記念ともなった。

　新渡戸稲造、デビットロックフェラー、李登輝、ネイティブアメリカンインディアンなどの道具が登場。
　そんなバーチャルな茶会を企画してみた。

　30年前、東京・浅草で私が制作した陶壁が今も無傷でそこに在った。
　まるで、ついこの前のように思えてしまうのだが、、、、、
　タイムスリップとはこんなことなのだろうか。

　11月19日、次男篤人夫婦が男の子を授かった。
　生まれてまだ2週間、そして今日が初めての出会い。
　まだ、ほんの小さな命だけど、全てに感謝を捧げたい。
　お爺ちゃんとは絶対呼ばれたくないが、相応しい呼称も浮かばない。

　On November 19, the second son, Atsuto and his wife, have been blessed with a boy.
　It's only two weeks since he was born, and today is the first meeting.
　It's still a small life, but I want to give thanks for everything.
　"I definitely don't want to be called grandpa, but I can't think of a suitable name."

　

　人が生かされる中で、忘れらない瞬間というものがある。
　茶会の席主となる朝、坐忘斎御家元から私と長男は裏千家内にお招きを受けた。
　待合で身を整え、利休御祖堂で参拝、そして茶室に通された。

　十四代淡々斎家元筆の軸、そして、その淡々斎家元が福寿と彫られて九代長左衞門が焼いた主茶盌が置かれていた。
　つまり坐忘斎御家元の祖父、私の祖父、互いの交流が示されていたのだ。
　坐忘斎御家元は、大半の時間を長男のために話してくれた。
　彼には、次代の大樋長左衞門になるための忘れられない時となったはずだ。

　濃茶は私が担当。薄茶は長男祐希に託した。
　彼にはそんな経験は一度もないので、伊住禮次朗 茶道資料館副館長が主催側として指南役を務めてくれた。
　彼のお父上は坐忘斎御家元の弟、亡き伊住政和氏。私とは同じ歳でもあり盟友だった。

　粋な計らいと出会いを長男のためにしていただいた坐忘斎家元、
　そして裏千家の皆様に深く感謝申し上げます。

　There are moments in life never forget.
　In the morning when I was host the tea ceremony, I and my son was invited to the Urasenke
　by the grand tea master Sen Soshitsu Zabosai XVI.
　We prepared ourselves in the waiting room, practiced meditation at the Rikyu onso-do,
　and then entered the tea room.

　The scroll was written by the 14th grand tea master Tantansai, and the tea bowl that was made
　by the 9th Ohi Chozaemon and engraved with Fukuju by Tantansai were prepared.
　In other words, it showed the interaction between the grandfather of Zabosai Iemoto and my grandfather.

　Zabosai iemoto spent most of his time speaking for my eldest son.
　It must have been an unforgettable time for him to become the next Chozaemon Ohi.
　I am in charge of the Koicha. The usucha was entrusted to my eldest son, Yuki. Since he had
　never had such an experience, Reijiro Izumi, deputy director of the Urasenke Tea Ceremony Museum,
　acted as a guide.
　His father is the late Masakazu Izumi, the younger brother of Iemoto Zabosai.
　He was the same age as me and an ally.

　I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Iemoto Zabosai and the Urasenke family
　for making such stylish arrangements and encounters for my eldest son.

　

　コロナ禍で3回の延期となったが、11月23日、24日、京都裏千家にある茶道会館、茶道資料館に於いて、
　濃茶、薄茶の両席の茶会席主を勤めることになっている。
　全国から参席される方々のためにも、出来る限りのもてなしでお迎えするつもり。

　Although it was postponed three times due to the corona crisis, on November 23rd and 24th,
　I am appointed to serve both Usucha and Koicha at Urasenke, Kyoto.
　Many guests will be attending from all over Japan.
　I will welcome them with as much hospitality as possible.

　
　

　キャンベルさんが出版した「よむうつわ」(淡交社)。
　私が出版したのは「うつわの哲学」(淡交社)。
　偶然なのだが、先月のほぼ同時期に発刊された。　
　互いが「うつわ」を考察するその偶然から、全国紙との対談も予定されている。
　そんな縁もあり、我が家を訪れてくれた。

　第9回日展、私の出品作です。只今、会場の国立新美術館にいます。

　コロラド、ロッキー山脈で見た東西に続く渓谷は、天界から降り注ぐ光によって様々な色を放っていた。
　そこは、アメリカインディアンの故郷でもあり、まるで彼らの魂の声が聞こえたかのような心境だった。
　大地が形成されたかのように、時に柔らかな土に火を与え生じた亀裂ある土をパズルのように組み合わせながら造形してみた。

　This is my work at The 9th Japan Fine Arts Exhibition.I am staying at this exhibition.

　The valleys that stretched from east to west in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado gave me various colors
　due to the light pouring down from the heavens.
　It was also the home of the American Indians, and I felt as if I could hear their souls.
　As if the earth had been formed, I tried to shape it by combining cracked soil,
　which was sometimes caused by giving fire to soft soil, like a puzzle.

　

　この会議は、地方行政の誘致によって、文化、芸術、スポーツから経済など、
　各分野の第一線で活躍する著名な講師陣が、多様なテーマの講座に出演することで、
　文化戦略を立てることを目的としている。
　そして、私も会員として3回の講座に出演させて頂いた。

　・2限目、今回の議長を務める日比野克彦氏を座長に、石井幹子氏と共に「職人の未来」について
　・3限目、座長に湯川れい子氏、久保明彦氏、山田美保子氏と共に「SNS時代の言葉の暴力」について
　・そして4限目、私が座長として眞鍋 圭子氏、今藤長十郎氏、川上 智子氏、石塚 晋一 氏と共に「岐阜の焼き物」について話し合った。

　また、辰巳琢郎氏、日比野克彦氏、池田卓男氏などの同年代の仲間がいたりで登壇することで学びも深まり、
　回を重ねることに文化のネットワークが強まっている気がする。

　The purpose of this conference is to attract local governments to formulate cultural strategies
　by having lecturers who are active on the various fields such as culture, art, sports,
　and economics appear in lectures.
　And I also attended in three courses as a member.
　In addition, I feel that I can learn more by taking the stage,
　and that the cultural network is strengthening as I repeat the sessions.

　本日、ハンガリー国よりチャーク・ヤーノシュイノベーション省担当大臣、パラノビチ・ノルバート駐日大使をはじめ
　来日されたデリゲーションメンバーが立ち会われる中、東京にある駐日ハンガリー大使館で、私を含む3人の叙勲式典があった。
　私の叙勲理由は、日本とハンガリーの修好150年を記念した芸術文化交流に貢献したことらしい。

　2019年、2020年、ハンガリー政府の招きにより 、ブタペスト、ペーチでの巡回個展を開催し、
　ペーチ大学ではワークショップ、講演、日本の茶道のデモンストレーションなどを行った。
　このことは10数年前からの依頼でもあり、遂に実現したことでもあった。

　正式名称は、ハンガリー国騎士十字功労勲章ハンガリー国家勲章叙勲。
　栄誉なことだが、ハンガリーの人々との絆を深めながら、これからの人生を更に身を正して生かされていこうと思っている。

　Today, three delegation members, including myself, attended the ceremony in the presence of
　Hungarian Minister for Innovation Czark Jánoš and H.E. Mr. Paranović Norbert, Ambassador to Japan,
　and other delegation members who visited Japan.

　Today, the Hungarian Minister for Innovation Czark Jánoš andH.E. Mr. Norbert Palanovics Ambassador
　to Japan, and other delegation members who attended ceremony at Embassy of Hungary in Japan.
　The reason for my decoration seems to have been my contribution to a project commemorating
　the 150th anniversary of the friendship between Japan and Hungary.
　In 2019 and 2020, at the invitation of the Hungarian government,
　I held traveling solo exhibitions in Budapest and Pécs, and at the University of Pécs I gave workshops,
　lectures, and demonstrations of the Japanese tea ceremony.
　This was a request for more than 10 years, and it finally came to fruition.

　Order of the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
　It's an honor, but I'm going to be able to correct myself and make the most of it for the rest of my life.

　


　金沢において俵屋宗達を顕彰するために大正3年に設立された金沢宗達会は、年1回の茶会開催してきている。
　107回目となる本年も縁ある金沢の宝円寺と中村記念美術館において法要と三席の茶席が設けられた。
　会長を務める父 大樋陶冶斎も席主となっていたのだが、高齢のために私が代行させていただいた。
　宗達にはじまる今日までの「琳派魂」を表現させていただいたのだが、床に掛けさせていただいた鈴木大拙が書した
　「常行一直心」をこれからも心に秘めながら、作家として精進していこうと思う。
　祖父や父、母がこれまで大切にしてきたもてなしの気持ちをこれからも引き継いでいきたいと誓いをあらたにしたのだった。
　お招きした村山卓金沢市長、小森卓郎衆議院議員、宮田亮平前文化庁長官、そして参席された方々に深く感謝申し上げます。

　The Kanazawa Sōdatsu Kai, which was established in 1913 for Tawaraya Sotatsu at Hoenji-temple Kanazawa,
　has been holding a tea ceremony once a year.
　This year, the 107th edition of the tea ceremony. My father,Ohi Toyasai, who was also the tea host,
　but due to his advanced age, I was allowed to take his place.
　I have been able to express the "Rinppa Spirit" that began with Sotatsu until today,
　but I will continue to keep in my heart the "常行一直心" written by Suzuki Daisetsu,
　I hung on the floor Tokonoma, and I will continue to work hard as a written meaning.
　I hope continue to carry on the feelings of hospitality of “Omotenashi” from my grandfather, father,
　and mother had until now.
　I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Kanazawa Mayor Murayama Takashi,
　Member of the House of Representatives Komori Takuo, former Commissioner of the Agency for

　午前に法要を済ませて、午後は長男の結納。
　とても素晴らしい女性と出会うことができた。
　ご両親もこの縁を喜んでくれている。
　これも娘の導きかもしれない。

　Today is the anniversary of my daughter's death and “Daikichi “ it means very auspicious day for all
　types of occasions.
　In the morning, we spend and share the time together for my daughter.
　In the afternoon, my eldest son concludes.
　He met a wonderful and pretty woman.
　Her parents are also happy about this relationship.
　I believe This may be my daughter's guidance.

　


　娘 茉紀が亡くなって早四年。
　娘の友達も集まってくれた。
　そして、数々のお花も届いている。
　皆んな今も覚えてくれているんだ。
　本当に有難いことだ。
　娘は、凛華茉麗大姉となって皆んなを見守ってくれている。

　It has already been four years since my daughter Maki died.
　Her friends also got together today. And a lot of flowers have arrived.Everyone still remembers it.
　Thank you for all and she watches over everyone.

　


　渋谷駅ホーム内のベンチに携帯を忘れた。
　気付き慌てて戻ったのだが、そこからは消えてしまっていた。わずか10分ほどの出来事だ。
　カードも入れてあるので、かなり落ち込みながらも、神頼みの心境で駅員さんに問い合わせてみた。
　すると、既に落とし物として駅に届けられていたのだった。
　誰が届けてくれたのかわからないが、日本は素晴らしい国だ。本当にありがとう😭

　I forgot my mobile phone on a bench in the Shibuya Station platform.
　I realized it and hurried back, but it was gone. It only lasted about 10 minutes.
　I also had some cards and money in it, so even though I was quite depressed, then I asked the
　station clerk with prying to the gods.
　It had already been delivered to the station as a lost item.
　I don't know who delivered it, but Japan is a great country. Thanks so much and 　thank you all.

　裏千家淡交会近畿第三支部に招かれた。松本剛明衆議院議員、伊藤勝之 ヤング開発社長、平岡勝功 明石商工会議所会頭
　などをはじめとした裏千家老分や支部長などの重鎮が最前列に座られる中、茶道や工芸の未来について話をさせていただいた。
　ホテルの窓からは、青い空と海、そして淡路島を仰ぎながらたくさんの船舶が往来していた。

　I was invited to the 3rd Branch of the Urasenke Tankyokai. With members of the House of Representatives,
　Takeaki Matsumoto, President of Young Development, Katsuyuki Ito, President of the Akashi Chamber
　of Commerce and Industry, and other VIP such as the Urasenke board members sitting in the front row,
　I talked about the future of the way of tea and crafts.
　From the window of the hotel, many ships were coming and going while looking up at the blue sky,
　the sea, and Awaji Island.

　明日、石川県産の牛肉が東京食肉市場に初めて上場される。そしてそれを記念する夕食会があった。
　馳浩石川県知事が概要を説明した挨拶の後、橋本聖子参議院議員、知事夫人でもある高見恭子さん、
　そして私までもが挨拶させていただいた。

　生産者の方々の愛情ある飼育から生まれる能登牛を我々は感謝しながら食させてもらう気持ちが大切だと感じた。

　明日の上場は、どうなることであろうか。関係者の期待が高まっている。
　どうか石川県産の「能登牛」を応援してください。

　Tomorrow, beef from Ishikawa Prefecture will be listed on the Tokyo meat market for the first time.
　And there was a dinner to commemorate it.
　After the greeting by Ishikawa Pref.Governor Hase Hiroshi with an overview, Seiko Hashimoto,
　the House of Councillors, Kyoko Takami, who is the Governor's wife, and even I gave greetings.

　この作品は、日本近代医学の父・シーボルトとその息子たちの生涯を描いた舞台。
　友人の辰巳琢郎さんにさ誘われ、久しぶりに舞台を見に行った。
　父シーボルト役を彼は辰巳流に面白く演じている。また鳳恵弥さんは、息子であるハインリッヒ役をドラマチックで、
　ミュージカルのようにも演じていて、とても印象的だ。
　どの役者の方々も面白く役をこなしており、その真剣さが会場にも伝わり最高の雰囲気だった。

　This drama is set for the lives of Siebold, the father of Japan modern medicine, and his sons.
　I was invited by my friend Takuro Tatsumi.
　He plays own his father, Siebold, in a very interesting way.
　In addition, Ohtori Emi plays the role of his son Heinrich in a dramatic and musical way,
　which is very impressive.
　All the actors played their roles in an interesting way, and their seriousness was conveyed to the venue,
　and it was the best atmosphere.

　

　今日は裏千家淡交会埼玉支部の招きで、300名の方々に話をさせていただいた。
　コロナ禍で、ほぼ3年間ぶりの集まりでもあったそうだ。
　皆様から大歓迎されて光栄なことだった。

　Today, at the invitation of the Saitama Branch of the Urasenke Tankokai, I was able to speak with 300 people.
　Due to the corona disaster, it was also the first gathering in almost three years.
　It was an honor to be welcomed with all members.

　

　かなざわ・まち博は金沢の魅力を再発見してもらう市民イベント。
　私も毎年子供達に陶芸を体験してもらっている。そして彼らは皆んな天才アーティスト。

　Kanazawa Machihaku is a citizens' event that rediscovers the charm of Kanazawa.
　Every year, I have my children experience ceramics class.
　They are so talented kids.
　I love them so much.

　

　信じられないことだが、黛まどかさんが60歳の誕生日を迎えた。
　彼女が主宰する句会で、私も俳句を学んできた。メンバーには、亡き坂東三津五郎さん、藤原正彦さん、
　麹谷宏さん、わたせ せいぞうさん、増田明美さん、辰巳琢郎さん、テレビ局のプロデューサーやアナウンサーなど、
　実に多彩な方々の集まりで、私はその中で最も劣等生だった。
　しかし、かなり前から彼女に俳句を学んだことで、引き算の美学を知るきっかけともなっている。
　彼女に深く感謝したいと思う。

　本年、ウクライナでの悲惨な戦争から彼女が立ち上げたhaiku for piecesで、私の句も紹介してくれている。

　I have studied haiku at her group. The members included the late Mitsugoro Bando, Masahiko Fujiwara,
　Hiroshi Kohjitani,Seizo Watase, Akemi Masuda, Takuro Tatsumi, and a wide variety of other people,
　including producers and announcers for television stations, and I was the most inferior of them.
　However, having studied haiku by her since long time ago, I learned there is an aesthetic of subtraction.
　This year, she launched Haiku for Pieces out of the harrowing war in Ukraine, and my haiku was introduced also.

　
　
　


　ハワイ大学で行われた裏千家ハワイセミナーに参加した。
　白寿となられた裏千家玄室大宗匠の側にいれたことは、何よりの思い出となった。
　ありがとうハワイ。さぁ帰国だ。

　I participated in the Urasenke Hawaii Seminar held at the University of Hawaii.
　Being with the Urasenke Great Grand Tea Master Dr. Geshitu Sen who had become Hakuju
　(99 years old) was a memory of the most important thing.

　武生駅で私の乗っているサンダーバードが既に2時間以上停車したままだ。
　大雨で武生駅～芦原温泉駅間で運転を見合わせており、復旧のめどはまだ立っていない。
　駅のアナウンスと車内のアナウンスも、情報が錯綜しており乗客へ混乱が生じている。
　「今、新しい情報が入りました。雨が止んできましたので21:30から作業員が武生駅から芦原温泉駅の間を歩いて点検します。
　相当の時間を要しますので、早くとも23:30ぐらいの発車となります」

　40キロある距離を歩いて点検する？
　ジョークであってほしい！笑
　金沢まで帰れるのだろうか？

　At Takefu,Fukui Station, I am in the express train Thunderbird and has already stopped for more
　than two hours.
　Due to heavy rain, operation between Takefu Station and Awara Onsen station has been suspended.
　Announcement is said
　"Now we have new information, the rain has stopped, so from 21:30 the workers will walk between Takefu
　Station and Awara Onsen Station to inspect it. It will take a long time,
　so it will leave around 23:30 at the earliest."
　Walk a distance of 40 kilometers to inspect it? I wish it is a joke!

　ロエベ財団は、世界で最も評価が高いとされているこの工芸コンペを主催している。
　今回、この財団に韓国ソウルへと招かれ、シーラ ロエベ会長をはじめとして意見交換をさせていただいた。
　ファイナリスト30人の作品は、韓国初となる韓国工芸専門の博物館としてオープンしたばかりのソウル工芸博物館（SeMoCA）
　に展示されており、6月30日にはユニークなオープニングパーティも催された。
　大賞となった作品などのいくつかは、11月に開催される予定の
　金沢・世界工芸コンペティションでも展示されることにもなった。
　ロエベ財団の寛大な理解に深く感謝したい。

　The LOEWE Foundation is hosting this craft competition,
　considered to be one of the most acclaimed in the world.
　This time, I was invited to this foundation in Seoul, Korea, and I had the opportunity to exchange
　opinions with President Sheila Loewe.
　The works of the finalists are on display at Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA), which has just opened
　as Korea's first museum dedicated to Korean crafts, and a unique opening party was held on June 30.
　Some of the works that won the grand prize will also be exhibited at the Kanazawa World
　Crafts Competition scheduled to be held in November.
　I would like to express my deep gratitude to the LOEWE Foundation for its generous understanding.

　2020年2月25日のハンガリーでの個展からの帰国以来、コロナ禍となってからの初の海外です。

　6/7の夜、ハンガリー大使に招かれた大使館でのディナーコンサート。
　私の誕生日までも祝ってくれた。
　そこには高円宮久子妃殿下、駐日スイス大使、ベルギー大使などが列席されていて、この上ない光栄な誕生日となった。

　On the evening of June 7, the Hungarian ambassador invited me to a dinner concert at the embassy.
　He even celebrated my birthday.
　Princess Hisako Takamado, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Japan,

　長男は、今年に入ってほとんど深夜まで制作を続けていた。
　５月21日からはじまる金沢21世紀美術館でのコレクション展の準備を終えて、気がつけば彼はパリにいる。
　この二つの展覧会のために制作していたのかと今になって驚いている。
　これからも常に全力で向き合ってほしい。

　My eldest son continued to work until almost midnight this year.
　After preparing for the collection exhibition at the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art,
　which would begin on May 21, then he is in Paris now.
　I'm surprised now that he was working for these two exhibitions.
　I want him to continue to do his best in the future.

　


　私の母は、石川県かほく市宇ノ気町の出身で、盆や正月にはよく実家に連れて行かれた。
　父親(私の祖父)は、その地での医者であり、また縄文時代の上山田貝塚などを発見した考古学者でもあった。
　開業医として住んだからか、大きな家には広く長い廊下があり、たくさんの縄文の器などが陳列されていた。
　また、そこから見える庭には、大きな五重塔や灯籠などがあった。
　遠い昔に祖父母が亡くなり、その家や庭は取り壊されたのだが、その時にあった五重塔などが従兄弟の家に移され、
　つい先般には私のものとなって、工房に移設されることになった。
　50年前の記憶が蘇る。庭に向かっての縁側で、私を含めたたくさんの孫たちでスイカを食べた夏の日を。
　そして、皆んなが元気だった。
　今、祖父母、母の兄弟姉妹は皆んな他界してしまったが、従兄弟の絆は今も深く続いている。

　My mother was from Unoke-machi, Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture,
　and was often taken to her parents' house during Bon and New Year's holidays.
　Her father (my grandfather) was a doctor in the area,
　but he was also a discoverer of Kamiyamada Kaizuka and was an archaeologist.
　Perhaps it was the house where he lived as a medical practitioner,
　the wide and long corridors were lined with many Jomon vessels.
　In addition, in the garden that can be seen from there,
　there were large five-storied pagodas and lanterns.
　My grandparents died a long time ago, and their house and garden were demolished,
　but the five-storied pagoda that existed at that time was moved to my cousin's house,
　and finally became mine, and it was to be moved to my studio.
　The memories of 50 years ago,now truly revived.
　My grandparents and my mother's brothers and sisters have all passed away,

　第8回日展の巡回展が金沢・石川県立美術館で開催中。
　最高賞である文部科学大臣賞を受賞した私の作品も地元で陳列されている。
　月曜日の朝という難しい時間に、大勢の方々が集まってくれた。有難いことだと思う。

　これからも進化し続ける作家として頑張っていきます。皆様、応援してください。

　A traveling exhibition of the Japan Fine Art Exhibition (Nitten) is being held in Kanazawa.
　My work, which won the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award,
　the highest award, is also on display in my hometown.

　雑誌なごみの連載で書いた木の葉天目や唐物茶入など、古典に挑みながら現代アートとしての絵画も発表させていただいた。
　芸術界の巨匠の先生方、そして政財界の方々をはじめとして、本当にたくさんの人々が訪れてくれた。
　40年ぶりに会ったフランスに住む大学時代の友人をはじめとして、同窓会さながらでもあった。
　間違いなく人に支えられている。何と有難いことだろう。

　While challenging the classics, such as the leaf tenmoku tea bowl and Karamono tea Cafu that
　I wrote in the serialization of the magazine Nagomi,
　I also presented paintings as contemporary art.
　Many people, including masters of the arts and people from political and business circles, visited me.
　It was like a reunion, including a college friend I had met from France for the first time in 40 years.

　私の工房での制作はかねてからの彼の希望だった。
　数日間かけての制作は、音楽を極めた彼だからこそ、出来上がりは傑出したものだった。
　音符を立体化した陶芸作品が、これからいくつも完成することだろう。

　Production at my studio was his request which is already.

　国交大臣であった時も視察に立ち寄ってくれた。そして今回も過密なスケジュールの中でも訪れてくれた。
　30年を超える友情に感謝。

　When he was the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, he visited me in at an inspection.
　And he also visited in the overcrowded schedule this time.
　I'm thankful for friendship beyond 30 years.

　このような人々が日本を護ってくれていることは、我々は感謝しなければならない。
　この船には、歴史保存室があり私の作品も陳列されている。

　Captain Kokubu Ichiro and other The executive members officially visited to the OHI Miuseum.
　And it was surprised by the interest to the arts and crafts and the depth of the heart of the captain.
　We have to be thankful that such people are protecting Japan.This ship has a history preservation room,
　and my work is also displayed.

　


　今から50年前に父が制作した大きな陶壁がこの地にあった。
　それを解体して、新設された図書館ロビーに私が再構築させた。
　世界36ヵ国の言語で「世界は一つ」と書かれる中に、父による金沢の四季が表現されている。
　これも50年の時を経た父と子との合作かもしれない。世界が一つになれるよう祈りたい。

　There was a big ceramic mural my father produced 50 years ago now at this place.
　I dissolved that, and made an established library lobby reorganize.
　During being written with for the world by a language of 36 worlds, Kanazawa's four seasons by my father are expressed.
　This may also be the father and son collaborative work for 50 years.
　I hope the world will be one.

　雑誌なごみに うつわの 哲学と題して、2020年1月から2年にわたり24回連載させていただいた。
　その間に、この雑誌は500号を発刊することにもなったのだが、そのための記念茶会の依頼を受けた。
　近年の社会状況を鑑みて、ニューノーマルな茶会を心掛け、雑誌に紹介した数々の名品を用いた。
　25日、26日と能楽堂横の茶室で濃茶席を担当し、薄茶は最上階のスイートルームで催され、
　25日夜は、金沢を意識したフレンチと数々なワインや日本酒の晩餐会を催した。
　このニューノーマル試みは、これからの茶会の在り方の一端を示せた気がしている。
　全国からの参列者の皆様、そして関係者の皆様、ありがとうございました。

　私の祖父、九代大樋長左衛門が亡くなったのは、
　昭和61年(1986)1月18日
　常に厳しく、優しくされたことはほとんどない。
　しかしながら、その祖父の伝えようとした精神が私には宿っている気がする。
　今日はその37回忌法要。皆でそっと手を合わせた。

　夕刻は、父、長男と共に家族だけでの茶会とお節料理を食する
　おめでとうございます。皆様にとって良き年になることを祈っております。

　At 0:00 of New Year's Day, the Heart Sutra has been raised for a quarter of a century mostly at Geshinji temple
　And the custom by which New Year's Day of syncretization of Shinto with Buddhism is my family.
　There is a tea ceremony only by the family as well as my father and eldest son in the evening.
